Website of the Month
Each month, we'll choose a Pathfinder website that we think is a great idea to visit. The site represents the best of Pathfinder Ministry, with pictures, constantly updated content, quality of presentation, and information about what is going on in that club, conference, or resourcing Pathfinder ministry.

Highlighted Website

The PMC Evergreens Club Website, with its clean navigation, sharp images, and TONS of relevant links and information is the most detailed club site ever reviewed by Pathfindersonline.org.

I was especially impressed with the "Members" and "Leaders" sections of each Class level. This area was replete with links to check sheets, honor requirements, reading assignments, suggestions for completing the Bible reading, game ideas and drill manual links for the leaders and tons more. On their honors page, they linked to this site for the requirements and to the beloved wikibooks site for many relevant answer requirements. In addition, they included extensive links and resources for other honors that they needed in pursuing excellence in their club Pathfinder program.

In summary, some club sites have a lot of "bling" but this site has the "goods" needed for Pathfinders and staff alike to succeed in their local Pathfinder program.

Previously Highlighted Websites

Moved 2/2007 to unknown location) The Youth Ministries History site -- General Conference, with the leadership of Bob Holbrook and the creative energy of Arnold and Dixie Plata, Pathfinder historians, the General Conference has created an extensive set of links that show highlights of General Conference youth ministry from 1900 to the present.

I think you'll love the images and the images and the wealth of information. For Pathfinders, some might find the site frustrating, since ALL youth ministries are listed together, and there is no apparent way to "separate" the Pathfinder events from other youth events. Specifically, the format style is very old-school and requires an abundance of mouse-clicking to find your desired information (and there's no search engine).

However, if you're looking for some cool facts and nice pictures, then this is a site you might wish to visit.

The Gemini Club has a happening website with a well organized photo album, an interactive interface, and much more. A well laid out site highlights the most popular pages on the website, and the menu leads us to local leadership, favorite links for the club, and even a club forum. The club website even links to this site! UPDATE: This site was revisited in January 2006, and there's even more stuff and tons of cool photos and information. This site is better designed and maintained than most conference youth ministry websites!

The Vienna Stars have appeared here before as a "top site." They have recently undergone some site renonvations centering around a very nicely designed PHP website. All the bells & whistles help assist the user in finding out such cool things as schedules, newsletters, photos, and MUCH more. Even if you just visited this site to oh and ah over the design it would be well worth your visit.

WikiBooks Contributor Honor Resources This online resource, though NOT an official NAD Pathfinder resource, is part of the online contributor community that is attempting to fill in the gaps in the AY Honor answer books by offering the opportunity to share the answers/resources of those honors that don't currently have published answers. This is a top-notch resource for any club leader!

The Reading List Website is a site replete with all the reading requirements listed in the Growth section III (Friend through Guide).

This page has links to all the Bible texts (via biblegateway.com) and many of the online Ellen White passages that are available online. The author has also linked to a handful of articles and a few online books that Pathfinder might find helpful in fulfilling their reading requirments.

I hope that the navigation and design will improve over time, and time will tell about how adequately the links are kept relevant.

The Vienna Stars Pathfinder Club Website is a local club website. The layout is spectacular, the flash pieces are well done, and the navigation helps Pathfinders quickly find the schedule, pictures, and other information they need. Hat's off to the designer as well as those who maintain the site. We're between Pathfinder years, so I'm looking forward to observing whether this site keeps its calendar/events, staff and photos areas current in the coming year.

The Central Filipino Church Pathfinder Club Website is a local club website. Announcements, staff pictures, activities, and a links page are all a part of this simple yet well designed website. The navigation is easy to understand, and the rolloever drill picture on the front page really stands out. The site even has a "live chat" built in, though I wonder whether it is useful for such a small constituency. Sign in to the Guest book when you visit! Good job CFC!

The Lewis-Clark Club Website is a TLT maintained site for a local Pathfinder club. There are lots of well selected and idexed photos (complete with descriptions) and a maintained calender. The site also has a small relevant set of Pathfinder related links, as well as links to other Pathfinder club websites.

The Waiilatpu Club Website is often updated site for a local Pathfinder club. It contains a well laid out photo album, a well laid out and maintained calender of CURRENT events, information the parents and Pathfinders alike would find helpful about upcoming events, and a nice design that is attractive and easy to get used to. Like many Pathfinder club website, it needs some new pictures -- a lot of Pathfindering has happened since the Faith on Fire Camporee!

Desert Valley Pathfinder Club Website is a new website for a local Pathfinder club. It contains pictures, a great FOF video, a very nice TLT emphasis, and an easy to use calender for club events. The look is neat and clean, and should provide a model for other Pathfinder Clubs wishing to publish online.

Xtreme Youth Resources International is an Adventist organization that specializes in a variety of youth ministry activities and programs, one of which is Pathfinders. Their online Class Levels resource guides, as well as their expanding group of resources for AY Honors provide additional help and ideas for Pathfinder staff.

PathfindersRUs.com is a club website for the Collegedale, TN Pathfinder Club. It contains all the registration forms, an updated calender, pictures of the Faith on Fire Camporee and other events. The BEST part of the website is the extensive list of AY Honor help files for teaching/learning the new AY Honors. Webmaster Karen Reed has done an excellent job on this website for several years.

The Iowa-Missouri Conference website's content is mostly updated, it has some great pictures, and it has tons of good information for Iowa/Missouri Pathfinders and staff. Disabled as of January 2005
